I am happy to confirm the fact that many metal roofing manufacturers and contractors are recommending and using the Low-E Insulation from ESP in residential roofing applications. They have found that it is performing well in the field to reduce thermal load while also serving as an effective underlayment.

We have now had the pleasure of being in our building for a summer and a winter.
We have used Low-E insulation on many of our projects. The Low-E Insulation has impressed us every single time. Low-E helps us in many ways:

I purchased some of your Low-E Product recently. I live in a 100 year old home in the heart of the heat and huidity zone. After living here for 44 years I've noticed a pattern that has developed in the summer. Typically the 2nd story has run anywhere from 5 – 20 degrees hotter than the first floor. On July 4, I installed Econo-E in my attic over the existing cellulose insulation in place. As the temperature in the attic was approaching 120 degrees, I didn't exert any extra effort to try and seal the joints or perimeter. On july 6, the temperature upstairs was the same as the downstairs. In 44 years of living in this house the air conditioner has never cooled the second floor adequately. Since the Insulation of Low-E I can now enjoy a comfortable night of sleep. The Air Conditioner finally cools the second floor.
It's only been several months since our new church facilities have been built, but already we are seeing and feeling the advantages of the Low-E insulation. Throughout the last two months we have seen some of the hottest weather on record with temperatures over 90 degrees daily, and night time temps also sweltering.
